February 25, 2026 The PRIME Registry helps clinicians improve MIPS performance, reduce administrative workload, and earn certification credit while contributing to nationwide primary care advancement. Upon approval, primary care clinicians can now join the PRIME Registry at no cost through a new ABFM–Stanford partnership funded by Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H), with support anticipated through Fall 2030. How PRIME Supports Your Practice Higher Quality Payments: ABFM Diplomates using PRIME achieved over 60% higher 2023 MIPS quality performance than those not participating. Reduced Reporting Burden: Automated CMS data collection and submission streamline administrative work so clinicians can focus on patient care. Certification Credit: Participation and quality improvement activities count toward ABFM certification requirements. Community Health Insight: PRIME provides neighborhood level data, including social determinants of health, to inform more targeted and equitable care. Quality Improvement Tools: Dashboards and reports help clinicians identify care gaps, monitor trends, and guide effective practice improvement. Contribute to Transformative Research Membership in PRIME also supports the American Family Cohort (AFC) Health initiative—an ARPA-H funded collaboration with Stanford University. AFC brings together clinical, social, environmental, and behavioral data to advance chronic disease prevention, strengthen primary care research, and build evidence for community-based care models.
