Factbook 2.0 – Coming Soon!

In 2023, the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM) published the Family Medicine Factbook, a compilation of data received from the ABFM’s regular surveys of family physicians across multiple points in their training and practice careers, during and shortly after residency training completion, and after completion of continuous certification cycles from January 1, 2016, to January 1, 2022.

We are excited to announce that Family Medicine Factbook 2.0 will be published in the spring of 2026!

The survey data included in the Factbook has been pivotal in advancing funding for family physicians and primary care, a better understanding of the discipline and its needs, and improving patient and population health.
