The digital badge provides an up-to-date view of your certification status, and you may also use the DABFM (Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine) designation after your name to further distinguish yourself as an ABFM board-certified family physician.

As a board-certified family physician, you are a Diplomate of the American Board of Family Medicine (DABFM) and are permitted to list this designation after your name. Simply add “DABFM” to your display name on social media. Don’t forget to update your signature, business cards, resume, and curriculum vitae to further display this notable achievement.
