The ABFM Support Center will be available to assist candidates during special hours throughout the duration of the exam period (April 13th–April 29th). Support Center hours during this period will be as follows:

Monday–Friday: 6:00am–11:00pm
Saturday: 6:00am–5:00pm
Sunday: 12:00pm–9:00pm
(with the exception of April 20th)

All hours mentioned above are Eastern Daylight Time. 

A recent study found that training during residency in a federally qualified health center (FQHC), rural health clinic (RHC), or critical access hospital (CAH) led to an increased probability of subsequent practice in these settings.  The authors, Robert Phillips, MD, MSPH, Vice President for Research and Policy, American Board of Family Medicine, Stephen Petterson, PhD, Research Director, Robert Graham Center and Andrew Bazemore, MD, MPH, Director, Robert Graham Center, identified residents who trained in safety net settings using 100% Medicare Part B claims files for FQH
